The 2016 Audi R8 marks the launch of the second generation of the high-performance sports car, offering significant enhancements in power, performance, and technology over its predecessor. It is built on a new, lighter, and more rigid chassis that shares components with the Lamborghini Huracán. The car features a striking, angular design and an interior centered around the Audi virtual cockpit, a 12.3-inch digital display that replaces traditional instruments and the central infotainment screen. It is powered exclusively by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, available in two power outputs: 540 horsepower in the standard model and 610 horsepower in the performance-oriented R8 V10 Plus.
