The Aston Martin DB7 is one of the most important modern classics in Aston Martin history because it helped revive the company in the 1990s. It was produced from 1994 to 2004 and is famous for blending classic Aston elegance with more modern engineering and a more affordable price compared to earlier models. The original DB7 was powered by a supercharged 3.2-liter inline-six, producing about 335 hp, and came with either a manual or automatic transmission. It was praised for its refined ride, strong performance, and timeless design. In 1999, the DB7 evolved into the DB7 V12 Vantage, which is the most iconic and desirable version of the model. It featured a naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12, producing 420 hp (later increased to 435 hp in the DB7 GT). The V12 Vantage offered much stronger acceleration and a more aggressive character, with 0–60 mph in about 4.8 seconds and a top speed around 185 mph. The DB7 line ended in 2004, but it left a lasting legacy as the model that helped shape Aston Martin’s modern era and paved the way for the DB9 and later flagship grand tourers.
